Play SegaSonic The Hedgehog (Japan, rev. C) Online
Spin that trackball like mad to fling Sonic through obstacle courses—lava, spikes, and all. Ray’s janky glide somehow becomes your best friend after the third crash.

Game Overview
Remember those old-school arcade cabinets with the trackball controls? SegaSonic The Hedgehog was one of those—except instead of buttons, you’d frantically roll the ball to make Sonic zip through obstacle courses at ridiculous speeds. It’s pure chaos in the best way.
The Japan-only arcade version (rev. C, if you’re into that) has this weird charm where Sonic, Mighty, and Ray all handle slightly differently—Ray’s gliding feels janky at first, but once you get the hang of it, you’ll be skimming past spikes like it’s nothing. The levels are short but brutal, with lava pits and moving platforms that’ll wreck you if you hesitate.
Emulating it on MAME takes some tweaking to get the controls right, but when it clicks, it’s a blast of pure 90s Sega energy. Just don’t blame me when your wrist hurts from spinning that virtual trackball.
