Game Overview

All About America on the Amiga is one of those old-school educational games that actually makes learning kinda fun. You get two main things to dive into: history lessons and map quizzes, and you can tackle them solo or with a friend.

The history section has 16 short stories about America’s past—stuff like the Revolution or the Gold Rush—with these charmingly pixelated illustrations. After reading, you take a quick quiz where you either recall facts from the story or figure out what certain words mean. It’s multiple choice, so no sweating over open-ended answers.

The map part is where it gets sneaky. You pick between three versions: the original 13 colonies, pre-Civil War borders, or modern U.S. states. Each one tests different skills—like matching names to colonies, spotting postal codes, or even figuring out state capitals. I kept mixing up New Hampshire and Vermont at first, but hey, that’s how you learn.

It’s straightforward but weirdly satisfying, especially if you’re into trivia or just want to brush up on American basics without it feeling like homework.
