Game Overview

Arabian is this old-school arcade platformer that feels like flipping through a storybook—if that storybook had flying carpets, genies trying to wreck your day, and a prince who kicks like a mule. You play as said prince, sneaking through four gorgeously drawn levels (they call them "pages") to rescue a princess. Starts on a stormy ship, then takes you through caves, castle walls, and finally up the tower—each packed with enemies straight out of Arabian Nights.

What’s cool is how much you can do besides just jumping. You’ll cling to vines, crawl through tunnels, and even ride carpets that float just long enough to make you nervous. But the real fun is the kick attack—send three enemies flying in a row, and you either score big (arcade) or go invincible for a bit (NES).

To finish a level, you’ve gotta collect jugs with letters on them. There’s a sneaky twist, though: grab them in the right order to spell "ARABIAN," and you’ll get a bonus. Every time you save the princess, the next level gets harder—more traps, trickier jumps, and way too many Rocs dive-bombing you. It’s one of those games where you’ll fail a lot at first, but nailing a perfect run feels amazing.
