Play B.O.B on Snes Online
You play as a clumsy robot stranded on a freakish planet, blasting mutant veggies with bizarre weapons while hunting car parts—it’s weird, slippery, and full of secrets. Those walking toasters still haunt me.

B.O.B. on SNES is one of those weird, charming platformers that feels like it was dreamed up at 3 AM. You play as this lanky little robot who just wanted to take his dad’s car out for a date—but of course, you wreck it immediately and end up stranded on some bizarre alien planet. Now you’re stuck blasting mutant vegetables and dodging floating eyeballs while hunting for spare parts to build a new ride.
The controls take a second to get used to—B.O.B. slides around like he’s on ice sometimes—but once you get the hang of the weird arsenal (flamethrowers, homing missiles, even a disco ball gun?), it’s oddly satisfying. The levels are packed with secrets, and the enemies are straight-up surreal. I still have nightmares about the walking toasters.
It’s janky in that classic ‘90s way, but that’s part of the appeal. Just don’t expect your dad to ever lend you the car again.
