Play Baal Online
You run and shoot through dull hellscapes, waiting forever between levels—Psygnosis phoned this one in.

Game Overview
Baal on MS-DOS is one of those games that feels like it should’ve been cooler than it actually is. You play as this "Time Warrior" guy tossed straight into hell to hunt down pieces of some stolen War Machine—sounds metal, right? But then you actually play it, and… well, it’s just a pretty basic platformer with some shooting. Not terrible, but nothing special either.
What really kills it, though? The loading times. They’re brutal. Like, "go make a sandwich while you wait" bad. And coming from Psygnosis—the same folks who gave us Shadow of the Beast—it’s weird how flat the whole thing feels. No trippy Roger Dean artwork, just kinda gloomy and forgettable. If you’re a hardcore retro collector, maybe it’s worth a look, but otherwise, there are way better ways to spend an afternoon.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
