Game Overview
Oh man, BananaTron takes me back. You boot it up and suddenly you're this weird little monkey-bot hybrid sprinting through what looks like Tron got into a fight with a fruit salad. The neon grid floors, those chunky pixel bananas—it shouldn't work, but somehow it's weirdly hypnotic.
At first you think "how hard can this be?" until you faceplant into the first laser wall. The controls are dead simple (arrow keys and pray), but the speed ramps up fast. By level 3 you're sweating, weaving between electric vines while that awful/great bleep-bloop soundtrack speeds up. Lose and you'll absolutely restart immediately—partly for pride, partly because the whole thing only takes like 90 seconds per run.
It's the kind of game you'd play on your dad's beige PC while waiting for dial-up to connect. Pure, stupid fun with zero pretensions. Just don't blame me when you start seeing neon grids in your sleep.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
