You control Ben Tennyson, running and jumping through levels while fighting off various alien enemies. The main goal is to stop Vilgax, which involves beating up his forces and taking on some decently tough bosses. The key mechanic is switching between alien forms, like using Swampfire for area attacks or Goop for solving specific puzzles. The combat is straightforward but satisfying, with a difficulty that ramps up enough to keep you focused. It feels good to land a solid combo and seamlessly transform to handle whatever comes next.
