Beneath A Steel Sky on the Amiga is one of those classic point-and-click adventures that still holds up. You wake up in a dystopian city with no memory, and the whole vibe feels like Blade Runner meets Monty Python—dark but with these weirdly funny moments. The pixel art is gorgeous, especially for its time, and the puzzles actually make sense (most of the time).

I remember getting stuck trying to figure out how to get past a security bot early on, only to realize I could just... distract it with a sandwich. That’s the kind of game this is—smart, a little quirky, and totally worth losing an afternoon to. The writing’s sharp, too, with dialogue that doesn’t overexplain everything.

If you’ve got an Amiga emulator or the original hardware, this one’s a no-brainer. Just don’t forget to save often—some of those old-school puzzles don’t forgive mistakes.
