Play Bible Adventures Online
Guide biblical characters like Noah and Moses through levels, gather animals, rescue babies, and herd sheep while dodging obstacles and enemies in this unique platformer.
I remember picking up Bible Adventures for the Sega Genesis back in 1991, published by Wisdom Tree. It was one of those unusual titles that stood out on the shelf, not because it was graphically impressive, but because it was one of the few explicitly religious games available on a mainstream console at the time. In an era dominated by platformers and shooters, it offered something different, even if the execution was a bit rough around the edges.
You control different biblical characters like Noah, Moses, and David, each with their own set of objectives. As Noah, you gather animals two by two, carrying them over your head back to the ark while avoiding obstacles. Moses navigates through enemy-filled levels to rescue babies, and David herds sheep while fending off predators. The screen-by-screen exploration and the weighty, sometimes clumsy physics of carrying objects (or animals) define the gameplay. It's not particularly fast-paced, and the difficulty can spike unexpectedly due to awkward controls. Playing it feels like a strange mix of devotion and frustration, where success depends more on patience than skill.
