Bible Adventures came out in 1991 for the NES, developed and published by Wisdom Tree, Inc. It was one of the few unlicensed cartridges that bypassed Nintendo's official approval process, so you had to use a special adapter to play it on the console. At the time, it stood out simply for being a game with religious themes in a market dominated by fantasy and action titles.

You control characters like Noah, Moses, or David across three separate stories. The main goal changes per story; you might be gathering animals two by two for the ark, leading Israelites through hazards, or fetching items for a sick boy. You spend a lot of time carrying objects, sometimes heavy ones that slow you down, and navigating screen by screen while avoiding enemies and environmental obstacles. The pacing is deliberate, almost puzzle-like, and some sections can feel repetitive due to the weight mechanics and limited moveset. It feels like a straightforward, earnest platformer that prioritizes its themes over tight controls or variety.
