Game Overview
Bible Adventures (V1.3) is one of those weird NES platformers where you jump between three biblical stories—Noah’s Ark, Baby Moses, and David vs. Goliath. The controls are stiff, but there’s something oddly charming about lugging animals back to the ark or dodging soldiers with a baby in your arms.
Noah’s Ark is probably the most memorable part—you run around grabbing pairs of animals, but the hit detection is janky, so you’ll drop them constantly. The scripture verses pop up as hints, which feels like a strange mix of Sunday school and NES frustration.
It’s not a great game by any means, but if you grew up with it, there’s nostalgia in the clunky mechanics and bizarre premise. Bible Adventures (V1.3) is more of a curiosity than a hidden gem.
