Play Bible Adventures (Unl) (v1.2) Online
Control biblical figures like Noah, Moses, and David in platforming challenges as you gather animals, evade guards, and collect instruments in this quirky NES game.
Bible Adventures came out in 1995 for the Nintendo Entertainment System, developed and published by Wisdom Tree. It was one of the few unlicensed cartridges that made it to the NES toward the end of the system's life, and it stood out mostly for its subject matter rather than its technical polish.
You control different biblical characters like Noah, Moses, and David across three separate stories. The main goal changes per scenario: in Noah's Ark, you gather animals two by two; as baby Moses, you evade guards while floating down the Nile; and as David, you collect musical instruments for a worship song. The signature mechanics involve carrying heavy objects (animals, babies, even baskets of fruit) with awkward, momentum-based physics, and navigating screen-by-screen platforming areas with simple jumps and enemy avoidance. The pacing is slow, partly due to the weighty movement and sometimes unclear objectives, and the difficulty can spike unexpectedly from cheap hits or confusing level design. It feels like a strange, earnest attempt to merge scripture with gameplay, resulting in something both memorable and deeply odd.
