Play Black Box 1987 Online
You fire lasers into a dark grid, watching them ricochet or disappear as you map hidden atoms—simple at first, then suddenly your brain’s doing geometry homework. That eerie DOS hum sets the mood while you scribble angles like a mad scientist.

Game Overview
Black Box (1987) is one of those weirdly satisfying MS-DOS puzzles that somehow turns shooting lasers into a grid into a full-blown logic workout. At first, you're just firing beams into this black void, watching them bounce around—or sometimes vanish completely—until you piece together where the hidden atoms are lurking. The rules seem straightforward until you hit level 3 and realize you've been outsmarted by a bunch of pixels.
It's got that perfect retro vibe: no fancy graphics, just clean lines and that eerie electronic hum in the background. Half the fun is watching your own thought process spiral from "Okay, this makes sense" to frantically sketching deflection angles on a napkin. If you ever played Battleship and wished it involved more physics and less guessing, this is your jam.
Fair warning: it starts deceptively simple, then suddenly you're questioning your entire understanding of angles. Still, nailing a tough level feels like cracking a secret code.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
