Remember Blades of Steel from the arcade? This NES port keeps it simple — no stats to track, no team customization, just straight-up hockey action. You can play against a friend or take on the computer in single matches or a full tournament. The fights are the best part — when two players clash, the screen zooms in and suddenly you're mashing buttons in a mini brawl. Lose, and you're stuck in the penalty box for a while. The ref actually yells a few digitized lines (which sounded amazing back in the day) and breaks up fights that drag on too long. It's not deep, but it's fast, chaotic, and way more fun than it has any right to be.
