Play Bomb'X Online

You're a blocky little dude dropping bombs in tight mazes, trying to outmaneuver enemies while explosions carve paths—or trap you in a corner. The skulls laugh, the fireballs bounce, and the DOS-era jank somehow makes it better.

Game Overview

Ever played Bomberman on a crusty old PC? Bomb'X is like that, but with more of that janky MS-DOS energy—in a good way. You’re just some guy (or maybe a blocky pixel creature?) dropping bombs in maze-like levels, trying not to blow yourself up while taking out enemies. The controls are dead simple—arrow keys to move, one button to plant bombs—but the chaos ramps up fast.

What I love is how the explosions feel just unpredictable enough. Sometimes you set off a perfect chain reaction, clearing half the level in one go. Other times, you miscalculate and trap yourself in a corner while some weird floating skull thing laughs at you. The levels get seriously mean later on, with fireballs bouncing around and enemies that move faster than you. No hand-holding here.

It’s got that early ‘90s vibe where the graphics are basically colored squares, but the tension is real. You’ll catch yourself leaning into the screen like it’ll help you dodge better. If you’re into games that punish you for rushing but reward patience (and a little luck), this one’s worth digging up from the DOS archives.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
