The power-ups stack in interesting ways, and some dungeons actually make you think before spamming explosives.

It's still Bomberman at its core, just with a bit more depth. The GBA screen makes everything feel cramped sometimes, but the gameplay holds up. Bomber-Man Max 2 Blue is a solid twist on the formula if you want something slightly different.
