Game Overview
Bonanza Bros. is this weird little gem where you play as two goofy thieves sneaking through buildings packed with guards. The art style’s super distinct—everything’s got this chunky, almost puppet-like look, and the music’s weirdly catchy. You’ve got to time your moves just right, ducking behind furniture or knocking out guards when they’re not looking. Mess up, and suddenly the whole place is swarming with cops.
What’s cool is that it actually works as a co-op game—one of you distracts while the other grabs the loot, or you can just bumble through together and see how long you last. Some of the later levels get brutal, though. That museum stage? Took me way too many tries to not get spotted immediately.
It’s short, but there’s something satisfying about nailing a perfect heist without alerting anyone. Definitely one of the more unique stealth games from that era.
