Play Break Time: The National Pool Tour Online
NES pool game with four rule sets and a legit tournament mode. Surprisingly deep for a late-era cart—those digitized "Nice shot!" calls never get old.

Game Overview
Break Time is one of those late NES releases that actually tried to do something different. Instead of just slapping a basic 8-ball mode in there, they went all out with four rule sets—Rotation, 8-ball, 9-ball, and 14-1 Rack. I spent way too long in Practice Mode figuring out how 14-1 even works (turns out it's weirdly satisfying once you get the hang of it).
The real meat is the National Pool Tour, where you road-trip across five cities taking on pros who actually play like they've held a cue before. The digitized voice yelling "Nice shot!" never gets old, and thank god for password saves because some of these opponents don't mess around. Watch Mode's great for when you just want to see how the AI handles a tricky bank shot.
