Play Brix (1991) Online
You control a paddle, smashing bricks with a ball that gets faster and weirder—some bricks take multiple hits, others explode, and the physics keeps you guessing. Pure '90s chaos in the best way.

Game Overview
Brix (1991) is one of those MS-DOS games that somehow sticks in your brain forever. You know the drill—paddle at the bottom, ball bouncing around, bricks to smash—but it’s the little surprises that make it special. Some bricks refuse to break on the first hit, others blast everything around them, and every now and then, the ball decides to ricochet in ways that feel downright unfair (in a fun way).
The graphics are pure early ‘90s: chunky, bright, and somehow charming despite how basic they are. And the difficulty? It starts easy, lulling you into a rhythm, then suddenly you’re sweating because the ball’s moving twice as fast and half the bricks left are the stubborn kind. No fluff, no story—just you, a bouncing pixel, and that urge to clear one more row before you lose.
If you’ve ever wasted an afternoon on Tetris or Breakout, this one’s got the same kind of “just one more try” pull. It’s the kind of game you boot up for five minutes and end up playing for an hour.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
