This wasn't trying to be the HD console experience; it was its own thing, a pocket-sized interpretation of a blockbuster war.

You control a soldier fighting through a condensed version of the global conflict from the main game. The main objective is to push through linear levels, clearing rooms of enemies and completing brief mission goals like planting explosives or defending a position. Signature mechanics include using the touch screen for precise aiming and sniper rifle control, and the lower screen also displays your radar and grenade selection. The pacing is fast and the difficulty can be unforgiving, with enemies spawning aggressively and health that doesn't regenerate. It feels like a tense, slightly janky firefight squeezed perfectly onto the hardware.
