You aim with the stylus, squeeze off shots in tight alleys, and pull off sniper kills—somehow this DS port nails the COD feel despite the tiny screen. Those vehicle sections still catch me off guard.
Game Overview
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 - Defiance on the DS is one of those "how did they even fit this on a handheld?" kind of games. You get a surprisingly decent FPS experience—tiny screen and all—with missions that actually feel like they belong in a Modern Warfare game. The controls take a minute to get used to (stylus aiming feels weird at first), but once you adjust, it’s solid.
You’ll blast through urban combat, snipe from rooftops, and even hop into vehicle sections—all with that signature COD intensity. The story’s your usual military thriller stuff, but for a DS game, the cutscenes and voice acting are way better than they have any right to be. Just don’t expect HD graphics, obviously.
If you’ve got a DS and miss playing shooters on the go, this one’s a fun little time capsule. It holds up better than you’d think.
