Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Mobilized came out on the Nintendo DS in 2009, published by Activision. You control a soldier through a series of missions, fighting to complete objectives like securing intel or holding a position against enemy forces. The touch screen is used for aiming and throwing grenades, while the face buttons handle movement and firing. Missions are linear and fast, pushing you from one firefight to the next with little downtime. It feels surprisingly intense for a DS game, a condensed version of modern warfare in your pocket.
