Call of Duty: Modern Warfare - Mobilized on the DS is one of those "how did they even make this work?" kind of ports. You get a surprisingly decent FPS experience crammed onto the tiny screens—controls take some getting used to (good luck with the stylus aiming), but once you adjust, it’s weirdly satisfying. The missions are bite-sized versions of the console game’s chaos, complete with scripted moments and that COD intensity. Don’t expect HD visuals, obviously, but the pixelated soldiers and explosions have their own charm.
It’s not perfect—sometimes the AI acts like it forgot its coffee, and the framerate chugs when things get hectic—but for a handheld war game from 2009, it punches above its weight. The German version (DE) adds some extra flavor if you’re into that. Just don’t go in expecting a smooth ride.
