Call of Duty: Modern Warfare - Mobilized on the DS is one of those "how did they even fit this on a handheld?" games. The controls take some getting used to—you'll be using the touchscreen for aiming while moving with the D-pad, which feels awkward at first but clicks after a few firefights. Missions are surprisingly varied for a DS title, from clearing out enemy bunkers to escorting VIPs through urban warzones.
Don't expect console-level graphics, but the chunky pixelated soldiers and explosions have a weird charm. The soundtrack nails that COD intensity though—hearing those tense combat tracks through tinny DS speakers somehow still works. It's janky in places (good luck sniping precisely with the stylus), but there's something satisfying about pulling off a flanking maneuver on the tiny screen during your commute.
Just watch out for the friendly AI—they’ve got a habit of standing directly in your line of fire.
