Call of Duty: Modern Warfare – Mobilized on the DS is one of those "how did they pull this off?" handheld shooters. The controls take some getting used to (you'll be using the touchscreen for aiming), but after a mission or two, it clicks. The campaign throws you into tight urban firefights and stealth sections that actually work better than you'd expect on a tiny screen.
Don't expect console-level graphics, but the chunky, low-poly soldiers and smoke effects somehow sell the chaos. There's even a goofy but fun multiplayer mode if you can find someone else with a copy. Just watch out for the grenade spam—it gets ridiculous.
For a DS game trying to be a full Call of Duty experience, it’s shockingly playable once you adjust.
