Play Carrier Command Online
You’re stuck in a clunky sci-fi carrier, juggling drone strikes and fuel shortages while your weird walrus-tanks flop across islands—MS-DOS never felt this chaotic.

Carrier Command is this weirdly ambitious MS-DOS game where you're basically the AI brain of a floating robotic aircraft carrier. It's not like commanding a real navy ship—this thing's all sci-fi, loaded with drones and amphibious tanks you deploy to claim islands across this massive archipelago. At first, it feels like a strategy game, but then you realize you're also manually piloting vehicles, tweaking supply lines, and wrestling with this janky-but-cool 3D vector graphics engine (except on the C64 version, which went full top-down).
The setup’s great: some terrorists stole the fancy carrier, and you’re stuck with the older model trying to take back the islands. You’ll spend half your time sweating over fuel logistics and the other half watching your little walrus-shaped tanks flop onto beaches. The freedom to rotate everything 360 degrees was mind-blowing for its time, even if the shading’s just a grid of colored dots. It’s clunky by today’s standards, but there’s something addictive about juggling all those systems at once.
Just don’t expect it to hold your hand—figuring out how to even launch drones takes some trial and error.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
