Game Overview

Christmas Lemmings came out in 1991 as a holiday-themed version of the original Lemmings, developed by DMA Design. It was part of that wave of clever puzzle games on MS-DOS where you had to think your way through levels instead of just reacting. The graphics were simple but charming, fitting right in with what you expected from a PC game at the time.

You don't control the lemmings directly; instead, you assign jobs to them as they march mindlessly toward cliffs, traps, and exits. The goal is to guide a certain number to safety in each stage by using skills like building bridges, digging tunnels, or blocking paths. The mechanics are all about timing and resource management, since you only get a limited number of each skill per level. It starts easy but quickly becomes demanding, requiring careful planning and quick clicks. There's a real satisfaction in seeing your little holiday-clad lemmings make it home.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
