Game Overview
Cloud Master is one of those weird old-school shooters where you play as Sun Wukong—unless you’ve got the Western version, where they randomly turned him into some guy named Mike Chen. Either way, you’re flying on a cloud, blasting enemies with magic shots while dodging way too many projectiles. The first level throws these floating heads at you that look like they escaped from a bad kung fu movie, and the music has that classic Sega Master System beepy charm.
It’s tough as nails, like most shooters from that era, but there’s something satisfying about weaving through bullet patterns with your little cloud. Just don’t expect any deep lore—whether you’re the Monkey King or Mike, you’re mostly here to shoot things and hope for the best. The power-ups help, but good luck surviving past level three on your first try.
