Play Clue on Snes Online

Wander a pixel mansion as Miss Scarlet or Colonel Mustard, checking rooms and taking notes—accuse the wrong person and you’ll feel that detective shame. The SNES version nails the board game’s tension with flickering chandeliers and that "aha!" moment when the clues click.

Game Overview

Clue on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System came out in 1992, developed by Sculptured Software. It was one of those many board game adaptations that tried to find a place on the console, sitting alongside other puzzle and strategy titles of the era.

You pick a character like Professor Plum or Mrs. Peacock and move them room by room through the mansion to find clues. The main goal is to figure out who committed the murder, with what weapon, and in which room. You collect cards by entering rooms and making suggestions, which slowly eliminates possibilities from your notepad. The game moves at a deliberate pace, and the difficulty comes from remembering which clues you've uncovered and making accurate deductions. It feels like a quiet, thoughtful puzzle that rewards careful observation.
