Cold Dreams came out in 1995 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, developed by Immortality Production. You control a lone explorer equipped with a few specialized tools, including a gun that melts ice barriers and another for dealing with hostile creatures. Your main goal is to navigate a series of maze-like chambers, solving environmental puzzles and managing limited resources. The pacing is deliberate, almost tense, as you conserve ammunition and rely on an occasionally unreliable robot companion for assistance. It feels isolating and unpredictable, like working your way through a frozen machine that has a mind of its own.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
