Play Comix Zone (E)(Independent) Online

You play as a comic artist trapped in his own sketchbook, punching mutants while the panels shift—sometimes you tear through borders to find secrets or knock enemies into the next page. It’s got that grungy 90s comic look, and yeah, some fights drag on way longer than they should.

Game Overview

Comix Zone is one of those weird, hyper-stylish beat 'em ups where you’re literally trapped inside a comic book—panels, speech bubbles, and all. You play as Sketch, this grungy artist dude who gets zapped into his own creation, and suddenly you’re punching through mutants and robots while the page layout shifts around you. The whole thing feels like someone animated a 90s comic, complete with jagged edges and that grainy ink texture.

What’s cool is how you can rip through panel borders to find hidden items or smash enemies into the next ‘page.’ The controls are simple—jump, punch, the usual—but some enemies take way more hits than they should, so you’ll be replaying sections a lot. It’s short, kinda brutal, and looks like nothing else on the GBA. If you dig weird, artsy action games, this one’s a trip.
