Play Comix Zone on GBA Online
You play as Sketch, an artist trapped in his own comic, punching through panels and ripping the page edges to pull off wild moves while your pet rat sneaks through vents. The whole thing feels like you’re wrecking a comic book from the inside.

Comix Zone on Game Boy Advance, originally developed by Sega Technical Institute and published by THQ, arrived on the handheld in 2002. It was a late-era port of a cult Sega Genesis beat 'em up, adapted for a system already crowded with action games. The premise was novel: you weren't just playing a game, you were fighting your way out of a comic book.
You control Sketch Turner, a freelance artist pulled into his own creation. Your goal is to survive six pages of hand-drawn panels, defeating enemies and a villain named Mortus. The signature mechanics involve interacting with the comic world itself; you can tear the edges of panels to reveal items or new paths, and your pet rat, Roadkill, can be sent into background ducts to fetch health or hit switches. The pacing is relentless, with enemies swarming constantly, and the difficulty is notoriously high, demanding precise inputs. It feels like a frantic, physical scramble through an animated page where every punch and kick has real weight.
