You control one of four cyborg soldiers, each with a unique primary weapon, and your goal is to stop a terrorist plot involving a rogue military AI. The game is built on relentless forward momentum, with levels that branch based on your choices during brief in-game decisions. Signature mechanics include collecting and swapping between multiple weapon pickups on the fly, and a life bar that allows for a few mistakes instead of instant death. The pacing is frantic, and the difficulty is notoriously high, demanding quick reflexes and memorization. It feels like holding on for dear life as the screen fills with projectiles and mechanical monstrosities.
