Game Overview

Craps Academy for the Amiga is one of those games that makes you feel like you’re actually standing at a casino table—minus the risk of losing real money. The dice physics are weirdly satisfying, and the tutorial does a decent job explaining the rules if you’ve never played craps before (which, let’s be honest, most people haven’t).

At first, I had no idea what a "hard eight" was or why anyone would bet on it, but after a few rounds, I started getting the hang of it. The AI players react to your wins and losses with exaggerated groans or cheers, which is kind of charming in a retro way. Just don’t expect flashy graphics—this is pure Amiga-era simplicity.

It’s the kind of game you boot up when you want something low-stakes but still engaging. You’ll either walk away feeling like a high roller or completely baffled by dice odds.
