Game Overview

Crazy Cars is this old-school arcade racer from '87 that feels like a rougher, French take on Out Run. You're blasting down highways in a Porsche or Ferrari (the pixel art actually makes them kinda recognizable), weaving through traffic across different US states. The handling's slippery as hell—half the challenge is just not spinning out when you tap the brakes.

Fun fact: This was Titus Interactive's breakout hit, bundled with Amiga 500s in Europe. You can tell it's early days for racing games—no fancy 3D, just this weird mix of overhead and behind-the-car angles. The soundtrack's pure synth cheese, but it weirdly fits when you're barely missing an oncoming truck at 120mph.

Honestly, it's janky by today's standards, but there's charm in how straightforward it is. No upgrades, no story—just you, a fast car, and the open road trying to kill you.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
