Game Overview

CT Special Forces (Eurasia) is a GBA side-scroller that feels like a stripped-down Metal Slug, but with its own quirks. You play as a counter-terrorist operative moving through four themed missions—snow, desert, jungle, and city—shooting enemies, arresting surrendering ones with handcuffs, and juggling different weapons like flamethrowers and grenades.

The controls are simple, but the lack of downward shooting feels awkward when enemies swarm from below. The first-person shooting gallery sections break up the action, though they’re more of a distraction than a highlight. The helicopter segments are a nice change of pace, but they’re over too quickly.

It’s a decent time-killer if you like run-and-gun games, but CT Special Forces (Eurasia) doesn’t do enough to stand out. The password system helps, but the missions blur together after a while.
