That’s Cunning Football in a nutshell—a weird little MS-DOS gem where the ball bounces like it’s got a mind of its own, and the real trick is setting up plays that make your opponent facepalm. The graphics are pure pixel nostalgia, but don’t let that fool you—every match turns into this chaotic dance of fake-outs and last-second curveballs.

At first, I just booted it up expecting some clunky old sports sim, but five minutes in, I was laughing at how my "brilliant" long pass smacked a defender in the back and ricocheted into the net. It’s got that janky, unpredictable charm where even the AI seems surprised by what happens next. Not sure chess meets soccer covers it—more like soccer if the ball had a grudge against everyone.

Fair warning: the controls take a second to click, but once they do, you’ll be inventing plays that feel borderline illegal. Still holds up if you’re into games that reward stupid creativity over flashy graphics.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
