Instead, you’re tweaking stats, shuffling rosters, and even rewriting entire playbooks from scratch. I spent way too long renaming players to match my middle school friends before realizing my "star QB" couldn’t throw for more than 10 yards.

The real fun (or frustration) comes from the playbook editor—you can design every run, pass, or trick play exactly how you want, then watch your terrible decisions play out in bare-bones text commentary. It’s slow, it’s clunky by today’s standards, but there’s something weirdly satisfying about building a team from the ground up.
