Danger Castle came out for the Amiga in 1989 from Kunert Soft, a time when platformers were everywhere but few felt this deliberate. You control a small elf tasked with gathering crystals scattered across a treacherous fortress, one screen at a time.
You move room by room, climbing ladders, avoiding spikes and enemies, and hunting for keys to unlock doors blocking your path. The pace is slow and careful; one wrong jump or mistimed step means losing a life. It feels like a tense, methodical puzzle where every action matters.
