Danger Castle is one of those classic Amiga platformers where you play as this little elf dude scrambling around single-screen levels. Your job? Grab every last crystal while dodging enemies, traps, and locked doors—keys are scattered around, but half the time you’ll spot one just as some spike trap comes flying at you.

Ladders are your best friend here because falling from most platforms means instant death (learned that the hard way). You get three lives and three continues, which sounds generous until you hit that one level where everything seems designed to murder you. The controls are simple, but timing jumps and dodging feels surprisingly tight once you get the hang of it.

It’s got that old-school charm where every screen feels like its own little puzzle of survival.
