Pick a hillbilly, buckle into a duct-tape glider, and try not to faceplant into a barn while flinging chickens at your friends. Physics barely applies here, and that’s the point.
Dawgfight is the kind of game that makes you laugh before you even press a key. You pick a hillbilly—each one looks like they just stumbled out of a moonshine shack—and strap them into a glider held together by duct tape and prayers. The first time I launched, my guy immediately flipped upside down and smacked into a barn. Perfect.
It’s a 2D dogfight, but the physics are gloriously broken. Your glider wobbles like a shopping cart with a busted wheel, and "weapons" range from slingshots to literal chickens. Half the fun is seeing how long you can stay airborne before physics remembers it exists and sends you spiraling into a pond.
Play it with friends if you can. The AI’s fine, but nothing beats the chaos of four people all crashing into each other while yelling "yeehaw" unironically. It’s dumb, it’s janky, and I wouldn’t change a thing.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
