The whole vibe feels like a pulpy detective novel where every clue matters, from the needle mark on your arm to the weird medical equipment scattered around. You’re Ace Harding, a washed-up boxer turned PI, and your fists come in handy when dealing with muggers or old enemies who won’t talk.
Figuring out where to go next is half the battle—you’ll scribble down addresses, hail cabs to sketchy parts of town, and piece together why someone drugged you. The memory flashes get more intense as you go, like your brain’s fighting to surface the truth. No ghosts or magic here, just hard-boiled detective work with some creative problem-solving (and the occasional punch to the face).
It’s tougher than other point-and-click adventures from the era, but that’s what makes cracking the case so satisfying.
