Dragon Ball - Le Secret Du Dragon is one of those weird, janky NES games that somehow still pulls you in. You play as kid Goku, running around punching random bandits and jumping between awkward platforming sections—it's got that classic early Dragon Ball vibe where everything feels a little unpolished but full of heart.
The combat's simple (mash buttons, hope for the best), and some of the enemy hitboxes are downright unfair, but there's something charming about seeing the series' first console adaptation. You'll recognize moments straight from the manga, like fighting the Rabbit Gang or chasing after Pilaf, even if the graphics make everyone look like pixelated potatoes.
It's definitely not the smoothest game, and the RPG elements are pretty barebones, but if you're into retro curios or just want to see how far Dragon Ball games have come, it's a fun little time capsule. Just don't expect it to play like FighterZ.
