Dragon Ball Z - Kyoushuu! Saiya Jin [T-Eng1.1] (J) is an NES RPG that covers the Saiyan Saga, you start with Goku training in the afterlife while Piccolo preps Gohan for the incoming threat. The turn-based combat feels stiff by today's standards, but there's something oddly satisfying about seeing those old-school sprites charge up attacks.
Early on, you're mostly grinding through random battles to level up before Raditz shows up. The translation patch helps, though some menus still feel clunky to navigate. The game doesn't hold your hand, expect to lose a few fights before figuring out the right strategy.
It's rough around the edges, but if you're into retro DBZ games, Dragon Ball Z - Kyoushuu! Saiya Jin [T-Eng1.1] (J) has a certain charm for fans of the series.
