Play Dragon Ball Z : The Legacy of Goku II International Online
You play through the Cell Saga as the whole Z crew, swapping between characters and pulling off ki blasts that actually feel good—plus there’s Dragon Balls to hunt when you’d rather procrastinate saving the world.

Dragon Ball Z: The Legacy of Goku II on GBA is the one that finally got it right—no more janky controls or weird difficulty spikes like the first game. You start as Goku training in Other World, throwing punches and ki blasts that actually feel satisfying to land, and before long you're swapping between the whole Z crew as the Cell Saga unfolds.
The overworld's surprisingly big for a GBA game, with little side quests tucked everywhere (I spent way too long hunting for Dragon Balls instead of saving the planet). And yeah, the big moments—Gohan snapping against Cell, Vegeta's last stand—hit just as hard in pixel form. The sprites somehow make Piccolo's dramatic cape swirls look cool on a tiny screen.
Combat's simple but meaty, especially once you unlock super moves. Nothing beats nailing a full-power Kamehameha and seeing the health bar chunk away. Just don't expect deep RPG mechanics—this is pure DBZ power fantasy with extra polish. Still my favorite way to replay the Cell Saga on the go.
