Game Overview

Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter is one of those rare DS games that actually makes the stylus feel essential. You start by sketching your own hero—no presets, just a blank canvas. My first attempt looked like a potato with limbs, but hey, that’s part of the charm.

The game mixes classic platforming with this weirdly satisfying creative layer. You’ll jump through colorful levels, then suddenly pause to draw a bridge, weapon, or even clouds. It’s got that same quirky energy as the first game, but with more tools to mess around with. I spent way too long designing ridiculous hats for NPCs.

Fair warning: if you hate drawing, this might not be for you. But if you ever doodled in the margins of your notebook during class, it’s weirdly absorbing. The story’s simple but cute—something about saving a village with your terrible art skills. Works better than it should.
