Driller on the Amiga is one of those games that looks simple at first—you're just a little ship drilling into planets—but then suddenly you're sweating over fuel efficiency and terrain angles. The wireframe graphics give it this weirdly hypnotic vibe, and the way the landscape deforms as you carve tunnels never gets old. At first I kept crashing into walls because I underestimated how much momentum matters, but once you get the hang of banking turns, it feels oddly satisfying. The soundtrack’s this eerie synth thing that somehow makes drilling feel epic. Definitely a game where you either "get it" in 10 minutes or rage-quit forever.
