Duck Tales 2 was a beta version for the Nintendo Entertainment System, developed by Capcom, that never saw a full commercial release in Europe. It exists as a curious piece of the NES library, a snapshot of a game that was still being finalized during the platform's later years.

You control Scrooge McDuck, using his pogo cane to bounce on enemies and explore stages screen by screen. The main goal is to hunt for treasure maps and ultimately locate a grand prize, navigating through platforming challenges and occasional minecart rides. The level layouts feel rearranged and experimental, with some sections, like the minecart sequence, operating with a noticeably jankier physics model than the finished game. It plays with a familiar structure but an unfamiliar, sometimes unstable, execution.
