Your goal is to hunt down pieces of a treasure map, which then leads you to new stages and eventually the main prize. You explore levels screen by screen, often backtracking with new items to access hidden areas; finding and spending money in Uncle Scrooge's shop unlocks useful gear like a helmet that reveals breakable blocks. The game is moderately challenging, with some precise jumps and enemy patterns to learn, but it never feels unfair. It's satisfying to master the pogo mechanics and slowly uncover every secret the stages have to offer.
