Play Dungeon Quest Online
You blindly place tiles to build a dungeon as you go, praying the next one doesn’t drop you into a pit or spin you into a dead end while racing for the treasure. Brutally random, but that’s what makes every move matter.

Dungeon Quest is one of those old-school board games that feels like a brutal, chaotic dungeon crawl—in the best way. You start at the edge of a blank grid, blindly slapping down tiles to reveal corridors, deadly pits, or monster-filled rooms as you scramble toward the treasure at the center. No two games play the same, and half the fun is watching someone’s carefully planned route collapse because they drew a rotating room tile and got spun into a dead end.
It’s merciless—you could step into a bottomless pit on your first turn and be out of the game instantly—but that randomness makes every decision tense. Do you rush for the treasure and risk getting trapped? Play it safe and maybe run out of time? The tile system means the castle builds itself as you go, so even if you’ve played before, you’re never quite prepared for what’s behind the next door.
It’s a shame it’s not in print anymore, but if you can track down a copy, it’s worth it just for the sheer unpredictability. Just don’t get too attached to your adventurer.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
