Game Overview

Duracell: Run the Bunny came out in 1993 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games series, developed by Jeffrey Fullerton. It was a promotional title, one of those oddball games companies put out to advertise their products, and it fit right in with the era's shareware scene. You didn't expect much from something like this, but it had a strange charm that made it memorable among the more serious titles of the time.

You control the Duracell bunny, running endlessly from left to right across obstacle-filled screens. Your main goal is simply to survive as long as possible, avoiding pitfalls, dodging enemies, and jumping over hazards that pop up with little warning. The game uses a momentum-based movement system where holding a button makes the bunny run faster, but also makes precise platforming much harder. Each screen presents a new, self-contained challenge, and the difficulty ramps up quickly with unpredictable enemy patterns and tight jumps. It feels frantic and a little unfair, but beating a tough screen gives a genuine rush of relief.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
