Game Overview

I first played Dylan Dog: Murderers back in the early 90s, when it came out on MS-DOS. It was developed by Simulmondo, a name I remember from a few other adventure titles of the time. The game was part of that wave of pixelated, moody point-and-click adventures that really leaned into atmosphere and story over flashy graphics.

You control Dylan Dog, a paranormal investigator, as you explore a mansion full of murderers. The main goal is to survive the night and solve the mystery of who poisoned the wine. You move screen by screen, picking up items like chairs to swing or a revolver to shoot, though ammunition is scarce so you have to use it carefully. The pacing is tense; you never know when an attacker will pop out, and the combat can feel clunky but intense. It’s a game that keeps you on edge, always watching your back and thinking about your next move.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
