Game Overview

Super Bob Dylan is this weirdly charming Amiga platformer where you play as—you guessed it—Bob Dylan, hopping around like some folk-rock Mario. The first thing you notice? The enemies are bizarre: tanks, giant bees, even bouncing balls that seem way too aggressive for a Dylan-themed game. Jumping on some of them works, others just laugh at you.

There’s a guitar power-up that gives him this ridiculous, gravity-defying hairdo (which, honestly, fits) and lets him smash blocks like a bard on a mission. The harmonica shoots musical notes, which is fun until you realize you’re still terrible at aiming. Both power-ups act like a hit buffer—lose one, and Dylan’s back to his normal, slightly less fabulous self.

Instead of coins, you collect vinyl records for extra lives, and levels are grouped into "records" (get it?). Beat one, and you get a password so you don’t have to replay the whole thing—thank god, because some of these jumps are brutal. It’s janky, surreal, and somehow makes perfect sense if you squint.
